Ho Chi Minh City, 26 June 2010 – Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company of Vietnam Ltd. has granted scholarships worth 100 million VND each to students enrolled in RMIT Vietnam under the “Priority Enrolment Program” (“PEP”) and with excellent academic standing.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has offered scholarships to RMIT Vietnam students. This year’s scholarship winners are: Doan Ngoc Thuy Linh - Bachelor of Business (Accountancy), SGS campus, Do Thi Lan Huong - Bachelor of Commerce, SGS campus and Nguyen Duc Minh - Bachelor of Commerce, Hanoi campus.
PEP, a long-term program between RMIT Vietnam and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, was designed to help Vietnamese parents to “pre-pay’ for their child’s university education, using either its Endowment product (An Sinh Giao Duc) or Universal Life product (An-Thinh Chu Toan) from Dai-ichi Life Vietnam.
Under this program, every year, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam offers three scholarships worth 100 million VND each for three undergraduate students who have entered RMIT Vietnam under this program and have shown high academic performance.
“We all expect this scholarship program will encourage academic excellence and provide an incentive to many students who have studied at RMIT Vietnam under the “PEP” to achieve the best academic result”, Mr. Huynh Tuan Khoa, Deputy Chief Agency Officer of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam said today.
