Ho Chi Minh City – January 14, 2010, there are more than 150 staffs and agencies of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company of Vietnam Ltd. (“Dai-ichi Life Vietnam”) joining in the “Blood Donation 2010” program on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the company at Head Office in Ho Chi Minh City. This activity was also organized in Hanoi Office on January 08 with the enthusiastic participation of many staffs and agencies in Northern area and it has become the part of “Heart in Action” campaign which Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has carried out in previous years.

A drop of blood is a hope for being alive of the patient. Blood donation not only gives some advantages to our health but also is seemed as a magnanimous action which each person can contribute directly to the society and express our loves and responsibilities to our lives. Our practical and meaningful activity today will grant life to more than one person in future.

Mr. Takashi Fujii – General Director of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam said: “Blood donation not only makes us healthier but it is also an extremely lofty action sharing loves among the people. I myself have donated blood several times and I always feel so happy for my ability to blood contribution. And even if our health prevents us from blood contribution, we can call upon our friends and relatives to join in.” 

With the necessary and the lofty meanings of blood donation, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam always calls upon the staff and agencies to support and join in blood donation programs of the company and the community. Dai-ichi Life Vietnam strongly hopes that this event will receive more interest and enthusiastic participations of more staff, agencies, associates, and friends… from around the country.

After 3 years, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam currently manages more than 50 offices all around the country with over 400 staff and 14,000 financial consultants, serving over 500,000 customers. Last year is the second consecutive profitable year of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam with the total premiums of 744 billions VND, new business growth of 39% compared to the year of 2008.
